I have the 2654 Husqvarna mower. There is two long on the air filter trying to find out where they tie into. Can you help me with that?

If my lawnmower disk rusted will it affect the spark

I have a Craftsman Lawnmower with a Kohler 149cc engine. We bought it around 10 years ago from Sears and (bite my tongue) but we have never had a issue with it. It sits outside year round in our Canadian arctic and hot summer months getting snowed and rained on each year. I just change the oil at the start of every spring, check and clean the spark plug if needed. Put a new air filter on it and ( i converted the fuel filter to a external one) check the fuel filter and it is good to go for the season. The only other thing I changed was a fuel line because we had a pesty mouse that likes the taste of rubber and gas. We had to give him a burial ( thank god) because the high octane gas was to much for him. The key to making it last year after year is a little maintenance and some high quality high octane gas. I will be giving this one to my son and getting myself a self propelled lawn mower for all out unlevel yard and older age lol. I will buy another Kohler engine lawnmower again.

I replaced the thermostat with one with a reset button, now it heats up quickly and pops the reset button. the thing has continuity through the two thermal fuses and the heating element shows 13ohms. the connects show 120v at 8a but heats to 169f and shuts down beeping three times. what do you think? chuck it? I would appreciate your take. model bvmc-ehx33bm-np.

the little pin mechanism on exhaust should face the engine.

the round thing on the exhaust is 90 degree off. unbolt it and turn it around.

When you opened the two valves from top. Were the 3 lines bottom open ?

Only one issue a little love tap on the bottom corner pane of glass and it goes from smart lock to dumb lock . Great installation instruction video though.

Did you happen to question "why" the center section was damaged? I have done several of these units. In every one, the 10 tooth jack shaft gear hard surface is flaking off and the chips damaged the center section. So if you don't replace the gear, your repair will be short lived.

I’m glad I found this video. Cleaning the filter is no fun by just tapping it. It never really cleans it out that way. I also recommend to fully take out the white caps on the brushroll bearing when you lube them up. That way, you know your oil or grease is fully going into the bearing.

One can place the tire in the sun to make it more pliable, these small ones can be crazy great review

omg ! my honda jazz 2011 went down on me whilst i was driving (20mph or so luckily) after getting it recovered the recovery guy told me it was the timing chain ! i was getting ready to replace this ! , i have already done a full service on it and was left scratching my head over a crank no start and my 3rd coil pack was the same ! it was much more worse for wear then the others - i think before i do my timing chain i will try this !!!

Why take the valve out?

Speedisleeve the shaft could be a fix for that motor.

Could a gas leak occur if the is a gasket missing between the motor and the carburetor???

A bit late now but yes the rope is to thick i found a HRX they had used a thick rope like that and i fixed it fast with a thinner rope . i have some dog walking rolls with thin rope . strong and thin, the lawnmower stills run great

Your auger was leaning back more as you dug deeper ( simple geometry does this) - if you want to dig vertical holes start with the auger leaning a little forward (towards the tractor) - then as you dig deeper move the tractor forward just a little to counter act the leaning back - 2 to 3 moves should do it depending on how deep you dig. Then if you take the auger in until the gear box is level with the ground the auger will come forward by itself, but not much. Obviously the hole is kept vertical in the other direction by adjusting your 3 point hitch to counter act any slope sideways to the tractor. While I am picking on you (IMHO) I use less rpm and control the rate at which the auger goes in by slowly lowering the 3 point hitch. As I find by slowing down and controlling the downward rate you run into less problems - for instance if you don’t ease the auger down in wet soil it can “corkscrew” in an jam so hard the tractor cannot provide enough lift to pull it out. Then it has to be wound in reverse by hand (a large screw driver in through the yoke of the drive shaft will do this) while you apply moderate up lift with the 3 point linkage. Rocky ground can cause jamming and broken shear pins…….. Enough waffle - I have dug to many holes for one lifetime with one of these machines

Hay got a bigdog zero turn clutch is non adjustable type when clutch switch is off the clutch still turns the blades but slower than when it’s on at switch any idea what’s going on thanks if you read this hope for a reply ps is the clutch got dirt in it may me or may be it’s the switch????

Howdy, bub. I'm having trouble with my left-side ZT 3100...as of late, it's much slower and weaker than the right side one. Does that sound like an issue that the repair you show in this vid would repair? Just would like to know before I go through the trouble of removing and reinstalling it...
